DPHS Annual Meeting Held on January 28
The Dana Point Historical Society Annual Meeting and Potluck Dinner
Approximately 60 members and guests attended the Dana Point Historical Society’s annual meeting and potluck on Wednesday, January 28. Mayor John Gabbard was the Society’s guest speaker and also inducted this year’s newest board members.
Following a delicious potluck dinner, Mayor Gabbard took questions from the audience for about 20 minutes. His candor and knowledge was appreciated by the audience.
Barbara Johannes and Heidi Hyde followed with a history presentation about a recent acquisition of a painting, created 40 years ago by artist David Milton, featuring various sites of Dana Point, pictured.
